17 Movies We’re Excited For In 2017

No matter your perspective, 2016 has been a wild ride of highs and lows in entertainment. We’ve welcomed the reboots of some classic shows like Gilmore Girls and Full House, relished in the showdown between Batman and Superman in Dawn of Justice, gotten hooked on the strangely satisfying ’80s horror-com Stranger Things and bid farewell to fan-favorite characters like Richard Castle and Kate Beckett.

And while we’d love to rewind a few of 2016’s best entertainment moments, it’s time to look ahead to the movies worth getting excited for in the months ahead. It seems that the name of the game in 2017 is sequels, prequels and epic superhero mashups, which sounds like a winning combo already.
