Arrow fans are used to superheroes coming and going on the series, but there is one hero that they have yet to see… Batman!
Fans aren’t the only ones ready to see the caped crusader on the small screen, actor David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle on The CW series, wants him to join the cast as well.
“It think for sure Bruce Wayne,” Ramsey told reporters and fans at Wizard World Comic-Con in New Orleans last week, as reported by Comic Book Movie . “Like, I would love to see these two billionaires; well, [asking co-star Stephen Amell] are you still a billionaire?”
After asking his co-star about his character’s wealth he continued on why he wants Batman to join forces with the Arrow world.
“Math is hard. You should be, you totally should be,” he said before getting serious. “I would love to see these two guys at a table together just like, ‘Sup Bruce,’ ‘Sup Oliver.’ You know what I mean? And duke it out, like no utility belt, no arrows, just hand to hand man.”
If Batman were to come to the crime-fighting hero show, Ramsey knows exactly who should play him.
“Listen, I would love, honestly… I would love Ben [Affleck] to play Bruce Wayne,” he revealed. “Yeah, have him on the show, why not join the universe?”
Affleck is the most recent actor to play Batman and is currently working on another Batman movie, so why not him? Well, probably because he is super busy and doesn’t do TV roles very often, if ever.
Still, a guy and Arrow fans can dream, right?
