Justin Timberlake’s song “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” just won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Song.
This win has got to be a good feeling for the pop music superstar. JT penned the song himself along with the help of Max Martin and Shellback for the soundtrack of the 2016 children’s movie, Trolls. The feel-good disco pop song just scored JT the eighth overall People’s Choice Award of his career.
Released on May 6, 2016, “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” automatically shot to No. 1 on the Billboard charts, moving nearly 380,000 downloads in its first week. Timberlake and 20th Century Fox kept the great energy going all summer and into the fall as Trolls was released in theaters November 4, 2016. And although he missed the PCA red carpet, JT blamed his tardiness on classic L.A. traffic.

“I love you and go to bed and you’re the reason why I wrote this song,” Timberlake said to his son, Silas, to synch his acceptance speech. Cute!
