Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is ready for his new DC Films role to happen already — and so are we.

Last Wednesday (Dec. 11), the 44-year-old actor shared a photo of a meeting with DC about pretty much all-things DC Films and DC Comics.

“Had a very cool and strategic meeting with the heads of DC about their entire universe,” Johnson wrote along with an Instagram photo of himself at the headquarters.

“As a hard core DC fan, to get a real sense of the tonal shifts and developments coming in these future movies has me fired up,” he continued. “Something we, as DC fans have all been waiting for for a very long time.”

“Hope, optimism & FUN. Even when talking about the most ruthless villain/anti-hero of all time finally coming to life,” he teased. “Prepare yourselves DC Universe. #KneelAtHisFeet #OrGetCrushedByHisBoot #BlackAdam⚡️”

For those of you who don’t know, Johnson is set to play super villain, Black Adam, in DC Film’s upcoming movie, Shazam!.

Shazam! is a fantasy film about a kid who uses magic to turn into a superhero (who is adult size). That definitely sounds like a movie that should be both fun and full of hope, like Johnson said. Don’t you think?

Even though the movie is a long way off from coming to a big screen near you, Johnson’s excitement about the project makes us wish it was just around the corner.

Shazam! is set to hit theaters on April 5, 2019.
