The wait is finally over! The nominees for 2017 Academy Awards have been announced, and La La Land is already on fire.

The musical film, which stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, is up for 14 awards!

Sure, we all expected the film to come in with a high amount of honors, particularly since it swept the Golden Globes with seven wins, but this is bigger than anyone could’ve predicted.

La La Land is now tied for the record of most nominations by one film.

Which movies are in the same category, you ask?

Both Titanic and All About Eve are now tied with La La Land at the 14 Oscar nominations threshold, which is pretty impressive.

Some of La La Land’s nominations include Best Actress (Stone), Best Actor (Gosling), Best Director (Damien Chazelle), Best Original Screenplay and of course, the big one, Best Picture.

Congratulations are in order to La La Land and everyone involved for their hard work and amazing film. We can’t wait to see which awards the fantastic film receives when the Oscars goes live next month.
