Milla Jovovich just cautioned fans that they shouldn’t walk out of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter expecting Alice to come back for another round of fighting off the undead.

The action star recently sat down with Jimmy Kimmel where she confirmed that The Final Chapter really does mark the end of the series.

“It is [the final chapter],” confirmed Jovovich. “This is really Alice’s story going full circle. It’s the biggest and the best.”

The final installment of the Resident Evil series brings back some familiar faces, and also finds Alice returning to Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is currently gearing up to strike on the last survivors of the apocalypse.

According to Jovovich, the film as a whole makes for an incredibly thrilling experience. In fact, the film is so scary at times, Jovovich herself confessed to jumping in her seat while watching it back at a recent premiere.

“It’s terrifying,” promised the actress. “I watched it for the third time at the Tokyo premiere and I was jumping like crazy. My husband was turning to me like, ’But you’re in the movie— why are you jumping? you know what’s going to happen!’ But it’s scary. I’m telling you. It’s crazy.”

Also starring Iain Glen, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Eoin Macken, Fraser James, Ruby Rose, and William Levy, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter hits theaters on Friday, Jan. 27.
