The final Beauty and the Beast trailer is here and it’s even more spellbinding than we anticipated.
On Monday, during ABC’s new episode of The Bachelor, Disney released it’s last look at the live-action film ahead of its March opening and we can’t stop watching it on repeat.
We’ve already seen trailers for the film with glimpses into Belle (Emma Watson) being selfless and sacrificing her freedom for her fathers, as well as sort of meeting the castle’s characters. This trailer however, has it all… and with music.
The final trailer begins with Belle in her village, reading, helping others, and being the character we all know and love. As she goes about her life, you hear (and see) her father say, “My dear Belle, you are so ahead of your time. This is a small village. And it’s small-minded as well. But small also means safe.”
What’s not safe is the forest and the Beast’s castle — which you obviously already know.
As the teaser continues you see Belle’s father, Maurice (played by Kevin Kline), get captured and Belle coming to his rescue. Once she takes his place in the castle we get to see the amazing characters who reside there.
Of course you have Mrs. Potts, Chip, Lumiere, Cogsworth and more! Each of them are so full of life and help Belle to see that The Beast (Dan Stevens) isn’t all that bad.
We later see Belle’s attempt to escape, the Beast getting hurt, and Belle falling for him as she nurses him back to health. Sure they have their ups and downs, but what makes it work is their love — which is made clear through the song “Tale as Old as Time.”
Yes, we finally hear the iconic fairy tale song, sung by Ariana Grande and John Legend as the montage of more magic, dancing and romance play in the teaser.
Oh, and of course it ends with Belle and the Beast in the ballroom in that fancy yellow dress, and handsome suit. It’s just so magical.
Beauty and the Beast hits theaters on March 17, 2017.
