Lady Gaga has been trying to keep everything secret in regards to her Super Bowl performance, but now she’s spilling it. Okay, she’s just giving a few teasers, but it’s very exciting news.
On Sunday, February 5th Gaga will have all eyes on her when the Super Bowl Halftime Show takes place in Houston, Texas.
In a recent interview with Boston’s Mix 104.1 as a part of the Karson & Kennedy radio show, the singer finally gave a bit more information of what fans can expect.
For starters she confirmed that she will be doing part of the show suspended up in the air, which is SO cool.
“My sister was like, ‘I know, let’s suspend you in the air,'” Gaga told the radio hosts.
She then talked about the entire process of landing the gig, saying she thinks her ideas is what helped seal the deal.
“They were really excited about the show we wanted to put on,” she explained. “They’ve been super supportive. They’ve been there every day at the rehearsal space with us and cheering me on as I rehearse. It’s been great.”
As for what you will see, there may or may not be a few guest appearances. In fact, while there have been rumors about Tony Bennett stepping on stage with the “Joanne” singer, she didn’t really say yes, but she didn’t say no.
“I don’t want to say anything or give anything away specifically about what you will see during the halftime show, because I don’t want to ruin the surprise for everyone else, but I will tell you that it’s going to be fantastic and Tony is the best there is, and if he was in it, it would be fantastic,” she said.
Gaga and Bennett at the Super Bowl would be fantastic. Fingers crossed it actually happens!
Either way we know that Gaga is sure to put on an impressive show, no matter who comes on stage with her or how long she’s in the air.
Super Bowl LI airs on Sunday night at 3:30 p.m. on FOX.
