Calling all Orange is the New Black fans… this is for you! After four amazing seasons on Netflix, the hit comedy is switching things up next season.

Instead of focusing on a longer period of time, OITNB star, Danielle Brooks, who plays Taystee, revealed the new season will take place over a short timeframe.

“Season five is done over the course of three days,” Brooks told E! News on the SAG Awards 2017 red carpet on Sunday.

Luckily, it doesn’t mean that there still won’t be a decent amount of episodes… thank goodness.

“You will watch 13 episodes, and find out what happens in the course of three days,” she explained. “So, it will be very detailed, very intense, and you better get ready.”

Okay, with this kind of teaser we wish we could start watching Season 5, like now. Sadly, Brooks also revealed that while she doesn’t know when Netflix will release the next installment it’s likely going to be in the summer.

“Get your popcorn, your tissues, everything,” she teased. “I don’t know when it’s coming out because they never tell us, but sometime in the summer,”

It might only be February, but we’re officially starting our countdown to summer now, because it means new OITNB! Oh, and it means no school, summer Fridays for working people, and lots of sun and ice cream.

With all the hype from Brooks and the intense Season 4 cliffhanger, which included a death, and prison riot, it’s killing us that we have to wait to see what happens next until summer. Ugh, why, Netflix, why?

What do you hope to see on Orange is the New Black when it returns in 2017? What could happen in three days that can fill an entire season of TV?
