Split might’ve just hit theaters, but there are already whispers of a sequel!

Before we get into the sequel news, however, let’s catch up on what the movie is actually about. It stars James McAvoy, who plays Dennis, Patricia, Hedwig, The Beast, and more personalities.

While in other films McAvoy has won us over and been a sweetheart, this is NOT that kind of movie. It’s a thriller that revolves around McAvoy’s character (or characters), and three girls that he has kidnapped. The creepy character has 23 different personalities, which makes being kidnapped by him even more terrifying, because you never know which side of him will show up.

This horrifying world and scary character was of course created by the one and only M. Night Shyamalan and now he’s ready to bring you more scary stories, featuring McAvoy’s character.

“I have an 11 page outline for my next film in my bag,” Shyamalan tweeted on Saturday. “I can’t tell you what it is, but if you’ve seen #Split…” he teased.

According to Variety, Split has earned $98.7 million stateside after being in theaters these past three weeks. Not too shabby!

While there aren’t any clues to what the second film would be about, with so many personalities to work with it could be a prequel or sequel.
