Get excited, music fans, because Katy Perry will definitely be performing at this year’s Grammy Awards.

On Monday (Feb. 6), Perry confirmed on Twitter that she’s joining the already star-studded list of performers for the 2017 Grammys.

The Recording Academy first shared the news earlier that morning and tweeted their excitement and now we’re officially pumped for this weekend.

The list of artists set to take the stage on Sunday also include, Beyonce, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Keith Urban, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, and more… plus, Perry!

Although the “Roar” singer hasn’t released a new album since 2013, Billboard reported that new music could be coming our way this week.

Yes, Perry fans, this is a HUGE week for you now. Expect a new single to be released by the 32-year-old singer later this week called “Chained to the Rhythm.” It is the same song she is set to perform at the award show.

Are you excited to see the “Fireworks” singer perform? Would you rather a new song, or one of her classics?

The 2017 Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, February 12 on CBS.
