Fans who might have been hoping Swift would cap her DIRECT NOW Super Saturday Night pre-Super Bowl concert on Saturday (Feb. 4) by announcing a tour of some sort got the opposite news.
Instead, the “Wildest Dreams” singer reiterated that she’s not planning to hit the road any time soon.
“By coming to this show tonight you are attending 100 percent of this year’s tour dates,” said Swift at the show according to EW.
Swift had some pretty big name fans in the audience on her one and only tour stop of 2017. Celebrities at the “Shake It Off” singer’s show at Club Nomadic in Houston included John Legend, Chrissy Tiegen, Chris Evans, Lea Michele, and Orange Is The New Black star Ruby Rose, who also served as the night’s opening DJ.
As sad as it is to hear that Swift has no plans to hit the road, we’re hoping that this means she’s taking the year to focus on creating some more hit tunes for us to jam out to in the future.
For now, we’ll just have to settle for rocking out to Swift and Zayn’s Fifty Shades Darker single, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” while we wait for the “Blank Space” singer to clue us in on what’s coming up next for her!
