2009 was a big year for The Dark Knight and its cast. They won BIG at the People’s Choice Awards, taking home five different awards.

The superhero movie won, Favorite Movie, Favorite On Screen Match-Up, Favorite Superhero, Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Cast.

Because they won all of the big awards for the night, the whole cast took the stage and received trophies together.

Christian Bale, who played Batman in the iconic film took to the microphone first on behalf of everyone.

“Thank you. Thank you, very, very much,” he said.

After a lot screaming from the fans, Bale stepped back up to the mic and added another short, but sweet thank you.

“On behalf of all of the cast, from the movie, thank you very much to the fans,” he said.
