Well, that was quite a show!

The 2017 Oscars on Sunday night (Feb. 27) proved to be one for the books, thanks partially to a mixup that will go down in award show history.

While Moonlight won Best Picture, it was the snafu leading up to the award that got everyone talking as LaLa Land was incorrectly announced as the category’s winner. The cast of the musical had even started giving their acceptance speech when Oscars’ staff members rushed the stage to correct the mistake. Ultimately, LaLa Land producer Jordan Horowitz took the mic and let the audience know that Moonlight was the rightful winner. Though the gaffe was unfortunate, there’s a lesson to be learned from how graciously the casts of Moonlight and LaLa Land handled the situation.

The Moonlight mistake is understandably making headlines, but there were many other (non-mistake) moments from the night that are worth talking about, too. Here are a few of our favorites!

1. Emma Stone can’t wait to hug her friends during Best Actress acceptance speech.

An understandably jittery Emma Stone promised to hug all her friends after the “feeling reenters my body” during her acceptance speech for Best Actress. Stone — who was nominated alongside Meryl Streep, Isabelle Huppert, Ruth Negga, and Natalie Portman — capped off her thank yous by humbly acknowledging that she had a lot more growing to do as an actress.

2. Viola Davis tears up during her acceptance speech.

The queen of acceptance speeches strikes again! In an emotional speech, Actress in a Supporting Role winner Viola Davis said that acting is “the only profession that celebrates what it means to live a life.” Her speech was so good that it prompted Jimmy Kimmel to joke she should win an Emmy for it. We couldn’t agree more!

3. Justin Timberlake reunites with Ryan Gosling.

Though it wasn’t officially part of the telecast, E! News points out that Justin Timberlake — who surprised viewers by opening the show with “Can’t Stop The Feeling” — had a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it mini Mickey Mouse Club reunion with Ryan Gosling during the performance.

4. Jimmy Kimmel continues his feud with Matt Damon.

Talk about the bit that keeps on giving. From mocking We Bought a Zoo to playing him off the stage with music, Jimmy Kimmel made sure to make Matt Damon unwelcome at the Oscars — and we couldn’t help but find it hilarious.

5. Celebs receive surprise food deliveries.

The Oscars may be glamorous, but seating through a two-hour plus telecast without much to munch on? Not so much. Thankfully, this year’s show featured parachuted deliveries of candies, donuts and other treats. Who knew watching celebs delight over surprise food drops could be so entertaining? (Also, shoutout to Taraji P. Henson for unabashedly asking Octavia Spencer if she’d be willing to share her cookies. We hope the answer was yes!)
