If one thing has stayed the same through Demi Lovato’s career, it’s her love for her fans.

Ever since Lovato’s Disney days, the actress and singer has had a special place in her heart for her fans. That has never changed, and it’s one of the many reasons that we love her.

Back in 2012, the “Heart Attack” singer took home the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Pop Artist, because she was awesome. She still is awesome, but in 2012 she was clearly the best.

When she took the stage, she was so happy and surprised, but she didn’t forget her fans. In fact, those are the only people she could really talk about.

“Thank you guys so much. This award is amazing. The nominees that I was up against are people that I look up to and aspire to be one day,” Lovato said standing next to Vanessa Hudgens who gave her the award.

Next up, the fans. They deserved all the love and praise according to Lovato, and it was so sweet.

“I won this award because of my fans, so I dedicate this to you guys. You guys are absolutely amazing, I love you guys so much,” she explained. “Without you guys tweeting so many times I wouldn’t be up here tonight, so thank you so much. I love you guys. You guys are amazing.”

No Demi, you’re amazing!
