Elle Woods definitely proved she’s got what it takes to be a top notch lawyer in Legally Blonde. But while our favorite Harvard grad might not need much help when it comes to hitting the books, even the biggest of brainiacs would be nothing without a great group of friends to cheer her on while she’s our pursuing her dreams!

Lucky for Elle, when things got tough during her first year at Harvard, her trusty sorority sisters Margot and Serena were just a phone call away.

Margot and Serena might have had to stay behind in sunny California while Elle was hitting the books at Harvard Law School, but they still found ways to support their friend and fellow Delta Nu sister even from across the country and that’s exactly why we loved them.

It’s been well over a decade since Legally Blonde hit the big screen, but even so, we thought it’d be fun to check in on the actresses who brought Elle’s sorority sisters to life. Check out what actresses Jessica Cauffiel and Alanna Ubach are up to these days below.

Jessica Cauffiel/Margot
Since her days playing Elle’s fellow Delta Nu, Cauffiel has landed a few recurring roles on television including parts on The Drew Carey Show where she played Milan, and on My Name Is Earl where she played Tatiana. On the film side, she’s been features in memorable comedies like Guess Who, White Chicks, and Stuck On You.

These days, Cauffiel works mostly behind the camera, and is gearing up to premiere a film called Master. The documentary, which Cauffiel produced, tells the story of a Qi Gong master who travels back to China with his grand daughter in order to help her learn the secrets of Kung Fu.

Alanna Ubach/Serena
Ubach has been incredibly busy since wrapping on Legally Blonde and has since landed a multitude of roles across both television and film. On the television side, Ubach has scored roles on series like Californication, Men of a Certain Age, Friday Night Lights, and Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce. Movie wise, the actress has been featured in Bad Teacher, Waiting…, Meet the Fockers, and Herbie Fully Loaded.

Up next, fans can catch Ubach in the upcoming Amazon Prime original series, Hand of God.
