When isn’t Reese Witherspoon the cutest person in a room? We just love her!

In 2006, Witherspoon won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Leading Lady and her speech was fitting of someone winning such a big award. Though it wasn’t too long, she managed to thank everyone she needed to, including, of course, the fans.

“Oh my gosh. That’s heavy!” Witherspoon said when she got on stage. She then did a little shimmy shake in typical Reese fashion before continuing.

“I just want to say thank you so much. This is such an amazing award to get because you guys voted for it,” she said. “Not a bunch of people, stuffy people in a room, thinking about all the important things in the world, people who just really go see movies. And that’s who I make movies for, so thank you so much to all of you.”

In addition to giving a shout out to her adoring fans, who have always loved her, she gave love to her family. They are important too, you know!

“And thank you to my family for constantly supporting me, that’s what matters in life,” she added. “So, thank you again.”

Over the years we have loved to watch Witherspoon on screen, and we’re so glad that she’s remained the same… when it comes to her loving nature that is.

She always remembers where she came from, who has helped her get there, and the love it took to make it all the way!
