Prison Break: Sequel, aka season 5 of the Prison Break series, premieres tomorrow, but we already have a look at the first five minutes of the episode.
On Monday (April 3), FOX unveiled a lengthy sneak peek at the next installment of the drama featuring returning stars Wentworth Miller as Michael and Dominic Purcell as Lincoln.
A lot happened when the series came to an end nearly eight years ago, the most important development being that Michael died…or did he?
“Freedom has a price,” Michael says as we see bits and pieces of his life and death in the new teaser. “I died seven years ago, left behind a brother, a wife, a son, but the dead talk, if you listen.”
“Not all deaths are the same, some are real, some are a story,” he adds. “The dead talk, if you listen.”
Next, we get a glimpse at the prison present day, with the every so creepy, Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell (Robert Knepper).
Then, we see Lincoln in Chicago running from bad guys, but really, what else is new?
Finally, Theodore brings Lincoln an envelope and now they are back together, even though they hate one another. What does the letter say you ask?
It’s a picture of a photo of Michael! You know what that means: Michael could be alive. Needless to say, we’ll be tuning in to watch the rest of the premiere episode. Will you?
Prison Break returns for an all-new season on April 4, 2017 on FOX.
