Shazam! isn’t even out yet but Dwayne Johnson says there are already plans in motion to give his character Black Adam a standalone movie.

Johnson, who first confirmed he was joining the DC Extended Universe family last year, opened up to MTV News about the possibility of a standalone movie dedicated to Black Adam following Shazam’s release. Johnson explained that the stand-alone films are being created with the idea that the characters will combine or crossover at some point.

“We have a few surprises down the line. So what we decided to do was to create a scenario where Black Adam has his stand-alone movie, and Captain Marvel, Shazam, has his stand-alone movie,” Johnson told MTV News’ Josh Horowitz at the Fate of the Furious premiere over the weekend. “We’re building our world that way, and then we can come together at some point.”

Shazam! centers around Billy Baston, who is a young boy that gets the wizard’s (Shazam) powers to defeat evil, and in the process becomes his alter adult ego, Captain Marvel.

This is SUCH exciting news. The distinct worlds of Captain Marvel/Shazam and Black Adam coming together is pretty wild. Plus, it means that Johnson is totally on board for more DC movie magic, which is awesome.

For now, Johnson is focusing on his villainous side in Shazam! (set to hit theaters in 2019), but Black Adam will be his next focus, and we can’t wait.

Until then you can see the 44-year-old actor as Hobbs in The Fate of the Furious, which hits theaters on April 14, 2017.
