Attention, Friends fans! Your favorite show is coming back…well, sort of.

After more than 10 years without our favorite Friends in our lives, the hit comedy is getting new life as a musical play, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Friends! The Musical is an unofficial parody of the NBC sitcom and it set to debut off-Broadway in New York City this fall. Central Perk in the fall? Doesn’t that sound amazing?

The production is one of the many musical parodies from the brilliant minds of Bob and Tobly McSmith. These two previously created Saved by the Bell and Full House the musicals.

“Could we BE more excited about the chance to parody such an important TV show?!” Tobly McSmith told Entertainment Weekly about their new venture.

So what will the musical include? While it won’t feature the original stars, it will have some key events and songs.

“Not only do we poke fun and celebrate the show, we also get some jokes in about the actor’s lives,” he explained. “Oh and there will be a smelly cat, there will be Janice, and there will be Fat Monica.”

The team is also hoping to get some of the original cast or guest stars to show up for a few nights.

“We want all the alumni of Friends to come to the show and possibly be in it for a night or two — our first call is to the agent of Marcel the Monkey,” he added.

Seriously, could this BE any more exciting? Even though dates have yet to be announced — fingers crossed there are more than just NYC venues — tickets are scheduled to go on sale in June.
