It’s only been a month since we’ve had to say goodbye to The Vampire Diaries, and fans are already hoping for a spinoff series. Unfortunately, at least one original star has already said they’re not interested in revisiting The CW drama.

While answering fan questions during a Facebook Live interview with Entertainment Tonight yesterday (April 17), Kat Graham revealed that even though she loved playing Bonnie Bennett, her time on TVD — it was eight seasons, remember? — was long enough.

“I won’t consider a spinoff just because eight years is a long time and I committed so much of my time and life to that character and I feel like it ended in the way that it needed to end,” Graham said during Entertainment Tonight‘s livestream.

Graham — who is currently working on new music – also said that instead of playing the fabulous witch again, she wants to focus on more than just her next career move.

“I want to give my time not just to the industry but doing a lot of philanthropy work,” she explained. “I want to be able to travel and I want to be able to add something to the world and if I’m on a TV show for eight years it can be limiting in terms of time. I want to be able to do more refugee work.”

Okay, this is totally understandable. Eight years is a long time, but if Graham ever does get the urge to go back to her witch roots we are SO on board with it.

What do you think about a potential Vampire Diaries revival series?
