Frozen came out in 2013 and it was an instant hint. With songs like “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” why wouldn’t it be a success?

Now, Disney has announced that Frozen 2 will be hitting theaters in 2019, and our hearts can barely handle all of the excitement. So, what will the sequel be about? We’re guessing it’ll feature both Anna and Elsa, but we’re rooting for more Elsa.

Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE Kristen Bell as Anna and would freak out if she wasn’t a big part of the sequel. That being said, Idina Menzel’s Elsa actually deserves to be the focal point of the follow-up movie because the character needs redemption once and for all.

In the first film, the story might’ve seemed like it was about Elsa and her icy powers, but it was actually about Anna and her mission to save her kingdom and her sister, while on a journey of self-discovery.

Meanwhile, Elsa totally got the short end of the stick. The character spent most of the movie pushing away Anna so she could stay locked inside a castle. Granted, her motives for isolating herself were noble — she was trying to keep everyone safe! — but it definitely made her come off as icy and cold (figuratively and literally).

Elsa also made a LOT of big mistakes (like, say, when she froze her sister's heart momentarily), and Anna was left to fix them. This time around, we want to see Elsa rise to the top in a heroic manner and become the role model she was born to be. The character needs to be fully redeemed so she can finally let her true self shine through, and we think the Frozen sequel is the perfect moment for that to happen.

Maybe this time around we can see what it’s like to be in Elsa’s mind? Now that she’s able to be her true self — ice and all — what will she be like as a queen? When Arendelle faces another issue, can she rise to the occasion and prove she deserves her crown?

We think she can, and we can’t wait to see it happen!
