Can you believe we’re almost two episodes into the final half of season 7 of Pretty Little Liars? Time seems to be flying by, and we’re not yet prepared to walk away from our favorite show.
Luckily, there is something that might make you feel better about the end of the Freeform series. According to cast, the final episodes of PLL will deliver real closure.
“I’m completely satisfied,” Shay Mitchell told E! News about the series’ final run. “This last ten episodes was written as a love letter to the fans, so I am very certain that they will love it as much as we do.”
If that still doesn’t make you feel better, then take some comfort in what Lucy Hale had to say about the end of the drama. According to the actress, this may be more of a “see you later” than a “goodbye.”
“This show will always be a thing, so we can always come back to it if we need to,” Hale told the publication.
If only we didn’t have to say goodbye in nine episodes, and then wait an unknown amount of time for the Liars to reunite on TV again.
Pretty Little Liars airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Freeform.
