Girl Meets World fans, this may give you some closure.

After confirming on Wednesday (May 3) that the Disney Channel series will not be continuing on another network, Girl Meets World creator Michael Jacobs took to Twitter again today to reveal what what would have happened had the show returned for a fourth season.

According to Jacobs, the upcoming season of the Boy Meets World continuation would have focused on friendship, family and love.

“Season 4 would’ve shown that what drew Farkle, Lucas and Zay to Riley and Maya was the deep friendship and respect they had for each other,” Jacobs wrote on Twitter. “And their relationship was the guide in how to meet the world. Especially our current world. Because to find love, friendship and respect must be at the center of it.

Jacobs also wished fans all the things he had hoped to reflect in the upcoming season.

“Cory and Topanga always knew that,” he said. “So, as you all meet this world, we wish you friendship, respect and love.”

Finally, Jacobs and the rest of the GMW writing team bid farewell with a heartfelt tweet that will definitely have you reaching for the tissues.

“All of us at BMW and GMW have loved bringing you these stories. We hope we have taught you to dream, try and do good. Class dismissed,” it reads.

The tweet takes us back to the end of Boy Meets World when Mr. Feeny said “class dismissed” and we have goosebumps.

Goodbye, Girl Meets World. You will be missed.
