Calling all PsychOs! The Psych cast is reuniting for a movie!

On Monday (May 9), NBCUniversal announced that the entire cast from the USA Network show will be back for a two-hour TV movie titled Psych: The Movie this December! After three years of no Psych we couldn’t be more excited for this revival.

“PSYCH is a beloved part of our USA family, and what better time to reunite with family than the holidays.” Chris McCumber, President, Entertainment Networks for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, said in a statement via TV Line. “Steve and James have taken the unique brand of comedy that the series honed over eight seasons and packed it in to a two-hour movie that successfully rekindles one of the greatest bro-mances in television history.”

Psych really is one of the greatest bromances on TV and we can’t wait to see Shawn Spencer and Burton “Gus” Guster back in action aka James Roday and Dulé Hill. In fact, the two have already started tweeted and retweeted one another about the great news.

After Hill tweeted, “PsychOs!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaat?!!!! 🍍🍍🍍,” the two leads got into a “suck it” battle and it’s giving us major flashbacks from the epic psychic detective show.

“Psych-o’s! It’s happening! 👏🍍👏🎄👏🍍👏🎄👏🍍👏🎄,” Maggie Lawson, who plays Juliet, tweeted getting in on the celebration.

Timothy Omundson (aka Detective Lassiter or “Lassie”), Corbin Bernsen (who plays Henry, Shawn’s dad), and Kristen Nelson (the one and only Chief Vick) will all be back as well!

As for what the movie will be about, we’ve got the official logline for you think ponder over.

“The ambitious friends — along with some returning fan-favorite characters — come together during the holidays after a mystery assailant targets one of their own. A comedic thrill ride follows, as the wild and unpredictable Psych team pursues the bad guys, justice …and food!” it reads.

And pineapples, you can’t forget the pineapples!

Psych: The Movie is set to premiere sometime in December 2017.
