Game of Thrones fans might want to take a closer look at those new stills recently released by HBO. It turns out, there could be a clue we all missed embedded within one of the photos!

As Reddit user itsjayrr points out (via HuffPost), there’s a certain still within the bunch featuring Gilly (Hannah Murray) and Sam (John Bradley-West) that might hold more significance than meets the eye at first glance.

In the still, we see Sam writing away in the background, but it’s Gilly, who’s reading intently at the forefront, that we should really be paying attention to. In fact, what she’s reading could very well hold a huge clue as to what we can expect going into season 7.

According to Reddit user itsjayrr, the text Gilly is reading actually looks like it could be a page straight out of George R.R. Martin’s book, A World of Ice & Fire. Thanks to the astute Redditor, we know that the page in question actually seems to be talking about the history of Westeros and one important person in particular.

The passage speaks of a character named Azor Ahai, who apparently saves Westeros and everyone in it. In the reading, we hear of a time in Westeros referred to as “The Long Night,” a period in which there seemed to be no end in sight wherein winter was concerned. Eventually, a hero known as Azor Ahai arrives and fights off the White Walkers, effectively saving the land. It is sad that Azor Ahai (also referred to as The Prince That Was Promised) will return.

It’ll be interesting to see where Azor Ahai comes into play, and what form he ends up taking. Either way, the photo of Gilly and Sam has definitely given us loads to think about as we wait for new episodes!
