Fans hoping for a Suite Life of Zack and Cody reunion on Riverdale may be out of luck.

During an interview with E! News, Riverdale star Cole Sprouse — who plays Jughead — addressed whether there’s any chance of his brother Dylan appearing on the Archie comics-based drama. As E! News points out, Jughead has an identical twin brother in the Archie comics — so, it’d make perfect sense for Dylan to assume the role. Unfortunately, Cole doesn’t see it happening.

“That to me is also one of those things that one, I’m hard-pressed to think Dylan would ever say yes to and that I would ever approve of, and two, that wouldn’t break fourth wall,” Sprouse told E!’s Tierney Bricker.

It doesn’t come as too much of a surprise that the brothers aren’t planning to reunite on Riverdale. After all, Cole recently said that he doesn’t even want Dylan to watch the series.

“He supports the show,” Sprouse told Elle about Dylan. “I don’t know if he enjoys it. This kind of programming has never really been our flavor of choice. I don’t really want him to watch anything I do and I don’t really watch anything he’ll do.”

Though Dylan probably won’t be popping up on Riverdale, it’s already inspired at least one Suite Life reunion.

Phill Lewis, who played Mr. Moseby on the Disney Channel series, recently got together with Cole to support the star’s new CW show.
