Once a Disney star, always a Disney star… well, sort of. Bella Thorne revealed she would totally star in a Kim Possible movie, even though she’s no longer a Disney darling.

On Sunday (May 14), the 19-year-old actress said she would be interested in playing Kim Possible on the big screen after a fan tweeted The Disney Channel championing Thorne for the role.

“I would be so down but they prob hate me by now 😂😂,” Thorne wrote on Twitter.

While Thorne didn’t specify why The Disney Channel may not be her biggest fan right now, the actress recently spoke out about her time on Shake It Up! and said she only took the role because of her family’s financial state at the time.

Thorne previously spoke out about her time on The Disney Channel saying, “I didn’t want to audition for Shake It Up!” but she did because of her family’s financial state.

“Do you think that I wanted to be a Disney girl? Did you think I wanted to do that? We were about to live physically on the street if I didn’t have that role,” Thorne told MTV’s Josh Horowitz on the podcast Happy Sad Confused as reported by MTV News.

While her comments may have not been the best way to secure a second Disney Channel job, we’re hoping the network is willing to look past it and consider casting Thorne in the role.

Can’t you just see her playing the cheerleader/crime fighter on the big screen? Thorne would kick major butt and she’d do it with ease. Plus, we know she’d look fabulous in the iconic cargo pants, black long-sleeved crop top, and gloves.

Now all we need is for Disney Channel to actually make a Kim Possible live-action film, or revive the TV show. It was one of the best shows in the early ‘00s and it deserves a revival.

What do you think about Thorne playing Kim Possible? Would you call her or beep her, if you wanted to reach her?
