**This post contains spoilers from the season 24 finale of Dancing with the Stars.**
The girls surprised Kordei on Good Morning America on Wednesday (May 24) with a sweet video message.
“We are so proud of you, you did so phenomenal, and you took our breaths away,” said Ally Brooke, who was flagged by fellow band members Dinah Jane and Lauren Jargueri. “You’re a winner in our hearts.”
While Kordei and her dancing partner Val Chmerkovskiy made it to the final round of the competition series, contestants David Ross and Rashad Jennings waltzed ahead of them during last night’s two-part finale. Jennings, an NFL player, ultimately took home the dancing crown.
Appearing on GMA the morning after the loss, Kordei seemed touch by the message from her Fifth Harmony bandmates, and opened up about how they’ve had her back throughout her entire DWTS journey.
“I love my girls so much,” said Kordei after watching the message. “They’ve been very supportive throughout the process. They know that this made me very very happy. Just seeing me find myself makes them very, very ecstatic, so I’m grateful.”
Fifth Harmony showed their support for Kordei throughout the season — even appearing on DWTS’ Most Memorable Week to perform a cover of “Impossible,” a song which the band originally performed when they first came together on X Factor.
What did you think of last night’s DWTS finale? Did the right contestant win?
