Have you ever wanted to see Felicity as a superhero on Arrow? If so, you’re not alone! Now, Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Felicity Smoak is chiming in and revealing whether or not she’s team costume on Arrow.

During the Heroes & Villains FanFest in London over the weekend, the cast of Arrow took the stage to answer a few questions about next season of The CW show. In addition to Stephen Amell revealing the theme for season 6, Rickards talked about a potential costumed Felicity, and her answer — as reported by Heroic Hollywood — was brilliant.

As DC Comics fans know, Rickards suited up on Legends of Tomorrow, in a mask, and purple hooded costume, which was very new for the hacker-turned-Team-Arrow tech expert.

Although fans loved her as a costumed superhero on the sister series crossover earlier this year, when it comes to the world of Arrow, don’t expect to see Felicity donning any sort of costume.

In fact, Rickards revealed that while she did enjoy playing a different side of her iconic character, Felicity will not rock a costume on The CW show unless she’s not actually Felicity.

Rickards explained that if there was a way to bring a doppelgänger style character into the Arrow world then she would be all for suiting up, but as for her character at present tense she plans to keep her as awesome and complex as she already is… costume not included.

“I will always stand by the fact that I don’t think Felicity should be a superhero. She’s already a hero in her own sense and I like who she is and who she plays,” Rickards told fans at the panel via Heroic Hollywood. “And I do stand by that.”

You go girl! Felicity is already such a fierce character and she doesn’t need to wear a cape or a mask to prove that she is a hero!

Okay Arrow fans, what do you think about Felicity donning a costume on the series? Let us know in the comments below!
