It’s a good day to be a Fifth Harmony fan! Not only have the fab four released a new track titled, “Down” (well, technically it was released on Thursday night), but also they’ve now officially performed it live (along with a few other tracks), and it was flawless.
On Friday (June 2), the quartet that makes up Fifth Harmony — Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, and Dinah Jane — took to the stage on Good Morning America, but only after they revealed some exciting news about their upcoming album.
“It’s a new era. It’s been really incredible because we’ve been in the studio the past few months really working hard on our album,” Ally Brooke told Good Morning America’s Michael Strahan and Lara Spencer. “We’ve been creating, we’ve been writing. It’s been really amazing, we’ve been having so much fun.”
As for what they’ve been doing in the studio, fellow bandmate, Dinah Jane gave fans a little teaser of what’s to come.
“There’s been lots of great producers that we’ve been working with as well on this album. So it’s been great to work with them in these studios and get involved as an artists, it’s so important,” she explained.
She even went as far as announcing two MAJOR collaborations that we can all look forward to.
“We have songs with Skrillex coming out too, Poo Bear,” Jane said. “A lot of special producers that we’ve worked with so this album is everything to us.”
Yes, you read that right, both Strillex and Poo Bear have teamed up with Fifth Harmony on this new album, and now we’re even more excited to hear it.
