Edward and Bella’s story may have ended when Breaking Dawn Part 2 hit theaters in 2012, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for more Twilight stories.

Lionsgate hasn’t been shy about hinting that there could be more Twilight somewhere down the line. In fact, back in 2015, entertainment vice president Michael Burns teased that the company might be interested in revisiting author Stephenie Meyer’s saga in the form of a prequel, sequel, or reboot.

But would any of the original stars be open to returning with the franchise? Take a look below to find out where stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and more stand when it comes to revisiting the epic vampire saga.

Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan)

Sorry, Twihards, it sounds like any sort of continuation of the saga will have to go on without Kristen Stewart. While Stewart told Uproxx back in 2015 that she might be interested in coming back for more, the actress backtracked just last July in an interview with Yahoo Movies. As sad as it is to think of more Twilight without Stewart, she has a pretty good reason for opting out of more. “To be honest, we kind of told that story,” said Stewart. “We made five of them, so maybe not!”

Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen)

Team Edward fans, rejoice! Robert Pattinson isn’t ruling out the possibility of more Twilight. Back in April, Pattinson sat down with Yahoo! Movies where he revealed he wouldn’t be completely opposed to reprising his role as Edward. “There could be some radical way of doing it, which could be quite fun,” said Pattinson of what it would take to get him to sign on for another Twilight film. “It’s always difficult when there’s no source material. But yeah, i’m always curious.”

Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black)

Unfortunately, Taylor Lautner hasn’t said much with regards to whether or not he’d be interested in reprising his role as Jacob Black. Even so, it’s clear he’s still got a lot of love for his old Twilight co-stars. The Scream Queens actor reunited with none other than Kristen Stewart back in 2015 on the red carpet for the premiere of her film, American Ultra. Here’s hoping Lautner’s love for his fellow co-stars is enough to entice him to say yes to more Twilight if the opportunity ever arises!

Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale)

As with many of the stars involved with Twilight, Nikki Reed feels fortunate to have been apart of such a worldwide phenomenon. Because of that, the actress hasn’t been shy about keeping the doors open as far as coming back to play Rosalie somewhere down the line. “I would be a fool to ever say no,” said Reed during an interview with Movieline back in 2012. “What this film has done in my life and career, and who I am, I don’t feel l like I could ever turn this kind of opportunity down.”

Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen)

Like Stewart, Ashley Greene isn’t interested in more Twilight, but she’s got a very good reason for not wanting to revisit the franchise! When we caught up with the actress on the People’s Choice Awards 2017 red carpet, she confessed that she thinks she’d be too old to play Alice if a revival were in the works today. “When we started we were babies and Alice isn’t supposed to age,” said Greene. “She’s supposed to be young and perky and so I think unfortunately I would be too old.”

Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen)

Twilight might have come to a close but it’s clear Kellan Lutz still has a lot of love for both the franchise and for his character Emmett Cullen. The actor even went on the record back in 2014, saying he’d be down to reprise his role if there were ever more story to be told.“It would be great. It’s hard because we’re vampires, we shouldn’t age and we started seven years ago but I think I still look like my character,” Lutz told Metro UK. “I love Emmett.”

Anna Kendrick (Jessica Stanley)

While the Pitch Perfect star hasn’t explicitly said she wants to return to the franchise, Anna Kendrick did dedicate a chunk of her autobiography to her time spent on the set of the vampire drama. “I ended up devoting, because stories just kept coming out, an entire chapter to just Twilight,” Kendrick said during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, as reported by Hollywood.com. We’re going to take that to mean she’d at least consider reprising her role as Jessica Stanley — even if it’s only because she needs new material for her next book.
