The Vampire Diaries may be over, but its star power lives on.

While The CW drama only wrapped up earlier this year, we’re already eager to see cast members Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, and more back on our TV screens every week. And now that we finally know which series will be returning this fall, we’ve got some pretty good ideas as to where we’d like to see the TVD alums pop up.

Take a look below to see which TV shows we think should recruit our favorite vampires, witches, werewolves, and yes, humans, next season.

Nina Dobrev to This Is Us

If there’s one thing Nina Dobrev proved during her years playing Elena Gilbert on TVD, it’s that the girl can cue up the waterworks like no other. So what better show for her to land on than the one that’s making everyone cry as of late? NBC’s This Is Us.

Ian Somerhalder to Timeless

We loved seeing Ian Somerhalder flash back in time as Damon Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries so much, that we’re going to propose he makes time-traveling a regular jaunt by joining a show like Timeless.

Paul Wesley to Mom

Now that he’s done playing broody Stefan Salvatore, it’s time for Paul Wesley to lighten up by teaming up with Anna Faris and Allison Janney on their CBS comedy, Mom.

Matt Davis to Code Black

We’d love to see Matt Davis trade in his Mystic Falls High School teaching syllabus for a stethoscope on Code Black.

Kat Graham to Star

Since wrapping up on The Vampire Diaries, Kat Graham has been hard at work on new music — which is why she should take center stage on FOX’s Star, one of the few series on TV right now that would allow the former Bennett witch to show off her stellar pipes. (Our backup pick for Graham is Nashville because, while her album may draw from “funk and disco,” we’ve got no doubt she could conquer country, too.)

Candice King to The Originals

This one’s a no-brainer. Given her history with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) on TVD, it’s clear that Caroline, err, Candice King should make her way to The Originals asap.

Michael Trevino to Chicago Fire

Michael Trevino spent a lot of time on the run as a werewolf on The Vampire Diaries, but now that he can finally put down some roots, we suggest he do so by reuniting with his TV(D) uncle Taylor Kinney on Chicago Fire.

Steven R. McQueen to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Since he’s already conquered the supernatural world, it’s time Steven R. McQueen tried his (hunter) hand an the superhero universe. And where better to start than by teaming up with Coulson (Clark Gregg) and crew on ABC’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.l.D.?
