If you want more Gilmore Girls in your life, you shouldn’t hold your breath. Lauren Graham recently opened up about a possible second spinoff and she’s doesn’t seem completely on board with the idea.

While fans may be calling for more episodes of the series after last year’s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life capped off with a cliffhanger, in an interview with IndieWireGraham said she thinks one season of the revival may be enough.

“Just as an experience, [the revival] was kind of perfect. I always said, while we were doing it, that I couldn’t see more episodes in that form,” Graham, who plays Lorelai Gilmore, told IndieWire about possible new episodes.

As for why she doesn’t like the idea of another revival? Graham is worried about messing with a good thing.

“Five years from now do you have A Very Gilmore Christmas? Maybe, but there’s no reason anymore except enjoyment,” she explained. “And, actually, I think there’s far more risk to continue — you run the risk of disappointing people.”

Okay, we sort of agree with the fact that if you do too many revivals, the stories could get less authentic and more outrageous, which we wouldn’t want. That being said, a Gilmore Girls special episode is something we definitely would tune into in the future, so take note Graham, we’re all in on this idea!
