We’re still freaking out over Katy Perry being announced as a new judge on the American Idol reboot, and she’s just as happy to be joining the cast.

While promoting her new album, Witness, Perry told Extra all about her upcoming gig. In addition to sharing her excitement, the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer revealed who she wants to have on American Idol as her co-judges, so listen up!

“My dream people would be Rihanna and Tim McGraw,” Perry told Extra’s Mario Lopez.

Okay, let’s stop and think about this for a minute. Tim McGraw, Rihanna and Katy Perry sitting at a table together? That would be a musical dream come true! Plus, who wouldn’t want to see the wardrobes that RiRi and Perry sported alongside McGraw’s iconic black cowboy hat, week after week?

Perry then explained how she’s always considered joining American Idol in some capacity, but the new season on ABC, which airs in 2018, just seemed like the right moment to take that leap.

“I’ve always been in talks with American Idol, but it’s time now more than ever,” she said. “It’s time now to really make people’s dreams come true and to show them dreams do come true.”
