Spotted: Our dream Gossip Girl reboot cast.

The hit drama only wrapped up in 2012, but we couldn’t be more ready to revisit the elites of the Upper East Side.

With stars — including Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, and Ed Westwick — all having moved on to other projects, however, it’s unlikely we’ll get a revival or even reunion episode of GG anytime soon.  In fact, both Westwick and Waldorf have gone on record to hint that they’re not ready to reprise the characters that made them famous — at least not yet.

So what’s a GG fan to do in the meantime? While recapturing the magic of the original cast would be no easy task, we think it’s time to consider a revival of the CW series with all new stars. After all, there’s no shortage of stories to tell about about Serena van der Woodsen (Lively), Blair Waldorf (Meester), Chuck Bass (Westwick), Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford), Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg),  Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr), Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen), and Eric van der Woodsen (Connor Paolo). We’ve even got just the right actors in mind to play some of our favorite schemers.

Take a look at our picks for a Gossip Girl reboot below!

Maika Monroe as Serena Van Der Woodsen

After roles in The 5th Wave and Independence Day: Resurgence, Maika Monroe is poised for stardom — and what better way to cement her name than by playing the “it girl” herself Serena Van Der Woodsen? Not only would Monroe reign over the Upper East Side — she’d get to do it in designer heels.

Zoey Deutch as Blair Waldorf

Every Serena needs her Blair — and we can’t think of a better on-screen frenemy for Monroe than Zoey Deutch. We’re confident the Vampire Academy alum could play Blair with just the right mix of snooty, sensitive — and oh so superior. After all, Serena may have been the de facto queen of the Upper East Side, but as everyone knows, it was B who actually ruled.

Diego Boneta as Dan Humphrey

We think Scream Queens alum Diego Boneta has just the right demeanor to play the Lonely Boy with a big secret (no spoilers!).

Harry Styles as Chuck Bass

In case you hadn’t heard, Harry Styles is an actor now. And while the One Direction member is starting off with big screen roles, it can’t be long before he books a TV gig, right? If and when that time comes, we think he should vie to inherit the part of Chuck Bass from fellow Brit Ed Westwick. As any true Gossip Girl fan knows, Chuck toed the line between bad — and well, badder — a challenge we’d love to see Styles take on.

OR

Ezra Miller as Chuck Bass

Can you believe we found two potential Chuck Bass portrayers? On the off chance Styles isn’t available (he does have a world tour coming up and all), we think The Flash star Ezra Miller could have plenty of fun as the high school student-turned-hotelier.

Jean-Luc Bilodeau as Nate Archibald

Jean-Luc Bilodeau had to clean of plenty of messes as first-time father on Baby Daddy — and he’d have to clean up even more if he were to play the role of Chuck’s trusty bestie, Nate Archibald.

Sofia Carson as Georgina Sparks

As Evie in Disney’s Descendants, Sofia Carson has proved she’s good at playing bad, which makes her perfect for the part of Gossip Girls’ resident villain, Georgina Sparks.

Yara Shahidi as Vanessa Abrams

While Yara Shahidi is headed to college for the Black-Ish spinoff, if it were up to us, she’d be enrolling in another year of high school to play unapologetic outsider Vanessa.

Sasha Pieterse as Jenny Humphrey

With Pretty Little Liars coming to an end, we hope star Sasha Pieterse is up for a little more scheming — because she’d be perfect as the rebellious Jenny Humphrey on GG.

Jared Gilmore as Eric van der Woodsen

The Upper East Side isn’t quite as idyllic as Storybrooke — but we’ve got a feeling Once Upon a Time alum Jared Gilmore could make himself at home as Serena’s little brother, Eric van der Woodsen. After all, in this case, “home” is an NYC penthouse.
