HAIM‘s new album is set to drop next month, but we’re already thinking ahead to what other musical treats the singers may be planning for their fans down the line — like, say, if they’ll ever drop a single with their bestie Taylor Swift.
During an interview with the Evening Standard, the sisters behind HAIM — including Este, Danielle, and Alana — revealed whether they’d be open to a collaboration with their good friend.
“The door is always open,” Alana Haim told the Evening Standard when asked if they’d ever chatted with the “Bad Blood” singer about creating music together. While their answer wasn’t a definitive confirmation that the four powerhouse female singers have discussed teaming up on a track, it’s at least promising.
Back in May, in honor of the girl group’s first single off their new album Something To Tell You, which comes out next month, Swift showed her love for her squad on Instagram.
“On. Repeat. Til. The. End. Of. Time‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️❗️,” Swift captioned a screen shot of the group’s song on iTunes. We second this statement and at the same time yearn for a song featuring both Haim and Swift, which would definitely be the song of the year if it ever happened… just saying.
Whether or not a collaboration actually comes to fruition, these ladies are clearly all about supporting one another and their musical ventures, which we are all for. Until then, we’ll focus on HAIM’s upcoming album release and just listen to Swift on our iPods on repeat.
HAIM’s Something To Tell You drops on July 7, 2017.
