Consider yourselves lucky if you managed to catch Adele on tour this time around. There’s a huge possibility that it could be her last tour ever.
The “Hello” singer, who’s on the brink of wrapping up her world tour, reportedly announced on Wednesday (June. 28) that she may never tour again.
The singer still has a few performances left at London’s Wembley Stadium, but she apparently let fans in on the fact that these could be her last tour stops ever via a handwritten note that was included in tour programs handed out Wednesday night.
“So this is it. After 15 months on the road and 18 months of 25 we are at the end,” reads the note, which has since been shared on social media by fans who received a copy.
In the lengthy letter, Adele explains, as she has on numerous occasions, that the tour life just isn’t for her.
“Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well. I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things,” writes the singer. “I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artists have had on me live.”
The singer then concludes her letter by saying that making sure her last few shows on her world tour were in London was a purposeful decision.
“I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I”ll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home,” continues Adele. “Thank you for coming, for all of your ridiculous love and kindness. I will remember all of this for the rest of my life. Love you. Goodnight for now.”
As EW.com points out, there’s a possibility fans might have seen this coming all along. The 25 singer even said something similar during her show in New Zealand back in March, but her words didn’t seem final until now.

We have taken this tour across uk+ Ireland, throughout Europe, all over America and I finally got to go to Australia and New Zealand too. Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn't suit me particularly well. I'm a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I'm dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is! I've done 119 shows and these last 4 will take me up to 123, it has been hard out an absolute thrill and pleasure to have done. I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artist have had on me live. And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don't know if I'll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home. Thank you for coming, for all of your ridiculous love and kindness. I will remember all of this for the rest of my life. Love you. Goodnight for now" ❤️Adele #Adele #Adelettes #AdeleLive2017
