It seems like just yesterday that Robbie Amell revealed that he was teaming up with Stephen Amell to bring Code 8 to the big screen and yet, filming is almost done!

While the sci-fi film, doesn’t yet have a premiere date, the Amell cousins are in the process of putting together the finishing touches on their first feature film together. With production on the movie about to come to a close, Robbie took to Instagram on Tuesday (July 18) to share a heartfelt note with supporters.

“Today is the final day of principal photography on Code 8. What a ride,” The Tomorrow People alum began his Instagram post. “The last 7 weeks have been some of the best times of my life. Jeff our director and the real driving force behind Code 8 put together a flawless team of people who I am so incredibly grateful for.”

Amell continued to thank everyone involved with the project, which got its start because of a IndieGogo crowd-funding initiative that raised a TON of money.

“Our goal was to make something great, with friends, that we could be proud to share with all of you. I am confident that we have delivered,” Amell continued. “To all of the Code 8 supporters out there, thank you for your passion and love. Without the incredibly successful Indiegogo campaign, we would not be here today. Hope you guys dig it.”

Don’t worry, Robbie, we have a feeling we’re definitely going to “dig it!”
