Descendants 2 premieres this week, and trust us when we say, it’s worth the watch! While the current cast, which includes Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, China Anne McClain and more, is pure perfection, we can’t help but think about who we’d love to see if a third film were to get the greenlight. Luckily, Descendants director Kenny Ortega already has a few ideas.

During an interview with People’s Choice on Tuesday (July 18), about the future of the Disney Channel franchise, Ortega — who revealed Descendants 3 is definite possibility as long as fans want it — opened up about who he’d like to see in the next installment.

“I would like Miley [Cyrus] to come back and I would like Vanessa [Hudgens] to come back,” said Ortega who also directed the High School Musical movies. “How about the Jonas Brothers could all come back and be our Lost Boys? I’m a big fan of so many of the artists that have come out of the channel and have gone on to have great careers, those that I’ve had an opportunity to work with and those that I haven’t had an opportunity to work with.”

Could you imagine the likes of Cyrus aka Hannah Montana teaming up with Hudgens (our forever High School Musical queen) and hanging out with the Jonas Brothers? It would be amazing. Plus, we love the idea of Kevin, Joe and Nick playing the Lost Boys — Peter Pan style!

While Ortega noted that there aren’t any concrete plans for a third installment of the villain kids franchise as of yet, it doesn’t doesn’t mean we all can’t day dream about the casting possibilities.

“I’m not really there yet. Right now, where I’m at is, I’m excited about what we’ve accomplished,” Ortega added. “I hope we were able to raise the bar on our last movie and I think that we’ve come up to the expectation level of what our fans are looking for.”

Which Disney Channel alum would be you dream cast in Descendants 3?!

Descendants 2 premieres on July 21, 2017 at 8 p.m. on Disney Channel, ABC, Disney XD, Freeform, and Lifetime.
