Sansa may have started her journey on Game of Thrones looking at the world through rose-colored (and very privileged) glasses, but she’s had quite the awakening since then.

During the HBO drama’s panel at Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday (July 21), Sophie Turner, who plays the eldest Stark sister, opened up about Sansa’s evolved outlook.

According to EW’s live recap of the panel, when asked if her character might find love, Turner said the notion isn’t even on the radar for Sansa anymore.

“She’s not like season 1 Sansa and looking for a relationship or love at the moment, she’s done with that,” Turner says. “She’s always on the search for happiness but sees the reality of the situation.”

Turner stressed that Sansa — who was already seen going to head with her brother Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in the season 7 premiere — now “sees the world in a different light.”

The actress added, “She’s woke now guys. She trusts no one.”

As bleak as her approach sounds, “trusting no one” seems like a pretty smart idea when you’re in Westeros — where pretty much everyone is out to get you. Among those who probably shouldn’t be trusted? Well, Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), of course. When asked earlier in the panel whether Turner was still being manipulated by Littlefinger, Turner made it clear that Sansa can’t be fooled so easily.

“At first there was manipulation,” Turner said as reported by EW. “But as Sansa has grown and been a prisoner of all these master manipulators…she’s just as good as playing the game as he is at this point.”
