Thanks to Apple, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can boast starring in yet another movie. Okay, technically it’s a commercial, but at four-minutes long, the actor’s new Apple ad could just as well be considered a mini movie.
On Monday (July 24), The Rock x Siri “movie” officially debuted on Apple’s YouTube channel — and it proves that “The Rock” really can do it all — with a little help from Siri, that is.
“You should never, ever, under any circumstances, underestimate how much Dwayne Johnson can get done in a day with Siri. Follow the world’s busiest actor and Siri as they dominate the day,” reads a description Apple’s YouTube page in regards to the film.
And that’s exactly what the commercial proves, as Johnson — with a little help from Siri — goes about crossing seemingly impossible tasks off his “life goals” list. Some of the things he decides to knock out throughout the commercial include piloting a flight (to Rome, no less!), and taking a selfie…in space. To top it off, Johnson manages to clear his list in time to make it back to the set of his new movie. Of course, seeing how Johnson isn’t exactly the type to leave well enough alone, the ad ends with Johnson asking Siri to start a brand-new life goals list, or the “sequel” as he calls it. (We’ve got a feeling another “mini movie” may not be far behind!)
This might not be a movie in the traditional sense, but The Rock x Siri is so much more than a commercial, it’s a full-on mini movie!
