It’s been a day since Justin Bieber canceled the remainder of his Purpose World Tour, and fans are still reeling from the news. While the singer himself has yet to speak out on social media, a member of his team is ready to talk.

On Monday (July 25), Bieber’s current tour came to a halt, and before the day’s end, his manager, Scooter Braun had taken to Instagram to share his sincere apologies and to thank everyone involved in the Purpose World Tour. He also offered some insight into why Bieber made the decision to halt his upcoming performances.

An incredible run. Congrats to @justinbieber on an incredible tour and thank you to the entire cast and crew for your unending support. Chris and Nick thank you. AEG thank you. Caa thank you. UMG thank you. @sb_projects Team thank you. To the promoters who believed around the world thank you. To the fans from all over the world who took part over the last 16 months over 6 continents thank you. To Justin who gave it his all night after night thank you. And to those that won't be able to see it… on behalf of myself, Justin, and the team, we are sorry. That was never our intent. But a man's soul and well being I truly care about came first and We must all respect and honor that. Justin will be back and I know he looks forward to performing for you and with you all again. One chapter ends and another begins. Thank you again. Now please stop commenting on all my other photos that have nothing to do with this 🙂 just kidding….but I'm not 😂. Jokes aside your support for Justin is inspiring. Cheers.

“An incredible run. Congrats to @justinbieber on an incredible tour and thank you to the entire cast and crew for your unending support. Chris and Nick thank you. AEG thank you. Caa thank you. UMG thank you. @sb_projects Team thank you,” Braun began his Instagram post. “To the promoters who believed around the world thank you. To the fans from all over the world who took part over the last 16 months over 6 continents thank you.”

Braun, who also manages Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly, Hilary Duff, and more, then thanked the “Sorry” singer for all his hard work and pointed out that despite the fact that fans are upset, Bieber’s well-being is his top priority, and we totally understand where he’s coming from.

“To Justin who gave it his all night after night thank you. And to those that won’t be able to see it… on behalf of myself, Justin, and the team, we are sorry. That was never our intent. But a man’s soul and well being I truly care about came first and We must all respect and honor that,” Braun explained.

The good news is that according to Braun, this isn’t the end of touring all together for the Canadian singer. Sadly, we don’t know when he will return to the stage, but there is hope for another tour down the line, so here’s hoping it happens sooner rather than later.

“Justin will be back and I know he looks forward to performing for you and with you all again. One chapter ends and another begins. Thank you again,” he continued. “Now please stop commenting on all my other photos that have nothing to do with this :  ) just kidding….but I’m not. Jokes aside your support for Justin is inspiring. Cheers.”

We still don’t know exactly why Bieber decided to cut the Purpose World Tour short, but we wish him well, and hope he is back to work when he’s healthy and ready for more!
