This Is Us fans have a few more months to go before the hit drama returns with all new episodes. If you just can’t wait that long to catch a glimpse of season 2, however, showrunner Dan Fogelman has got you covered!

The executive producer recently took to Twitter to share a first look at season 2 that’s bound to go over well with This Is Us fans.

“We’re back baby. #ThisIsUs,” tweeted Fogleman earlier in July.

The showrunner shared a fun image along with the tweet featuring none other than Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) Pearson.

From the looks of their wardrobe, it seems as though the scene Fogleman posted finds Rebecca and Jack back in the hospital on the night the Big Three were born.

The series is well known for incorporating flashbacks into what’s going on with the Pearsons in the present day, so we’re looking forward to learning more about what happened in the past when This Is Us return for its second season. This tease in particular is especially exciting because it confirms there’s a lot more story to tell when it comes to what happened immediately after Rebecca delivered her babies.

Fogleman and the rest of the cast seem to be keeping the bigger plot points of this coming season close to the chest for now so as not to spoil fans. What we do know, however, is that we’re in for another pretty epic season— at least if we’re to believe Milo Ventimiglia.

Back in April, Ventimiglia took to Twitter to share Mandy Moore’s reaction to finding out what’s coming up next in This Is Us season 2. If Moore’s shocked expression is anything to go by, we should start preparing ourselves now for the journey ahead!

This Is Us returns to NBC for season 2 on Tuesday, September 26.
