Update 8/3/17: While Heughan will be working with “Tiny” — it most likely won’t be on Outlander as we initially thought, but for a different project. The post has been updated below.

Outlander is no stranger to casting furry co-stars to act alongside some of our favorites. Sam Heughan’s new four-legged friend, however, might just be our favorite new top dog.

Heughan, who plays everyone’s favorite Highlander Jamie Fraser, recently took to Twitter to post an adorable selfie featuring his new furry pal.

“My costar ‘Tiny,’” tweeted Heughan. “Will work for biscuits. (both of us).”

While Heughan did not say what project he’s teaming up with Tiny for, the actor knows a thing or two about being on a set with furry friends. In fact, Outlander fans are used to seeing their favorite stars share the screen with cute pups.

Most recently in season two, we saw Claire (Caitriona Balfe) working alongside an adorable dog named Bouton. Though Bouton was undeniably cute, those who’ve read Diana Gabaldon’s books know that he held an extra special significance.

On top of being a great companion, he was also the official canine assistant of Mother Hildegard de Gascone, who ran the hospital where Claire volunteered at in 1740s Paris.

Additionally, we recently learned via EW that Outlander has officially cast the puppies set to play Rollo in season 4. For those who need a bit of a refresher, Rollo is a wolf hybrid who becomes the an integral member of the Fraser family.

As fun as it is to learn about some of the pups past and present on Outlander, we’re definitely excited to see what Heughan and Tiny have in store for us in whatever project they’re teaming up for!
