Eve might be a star — or, in this case, the star — of Life-Size, but if Tyra Banks has her way, Lindsay Lohan (who played Casey in the original Disney movie) will also play a BIG role in the sequel.

During the 2017 Television Critics Association press tour this week, Banks revealed to Entertainment Weekly that she does in fact want Lohan back for Life-Size 2 and we could not be happier to hear it!

“Lindsay and I have been slipping into each other’s DM’s a lot lately,” Banks told Entertainment Weekly at Thursday’s 2017 Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills. “I think she’s very interested in returning. It’s about figuring out what that role is. I’d like it to be kind of robust.”

Banks, who is also an executive producer on the upcoming Freeform sequel — which will be a TV movie this time around — explained that she wants her former co-star to really have a juicy role.

“I’m not looking for a Lindsay cameo, I’m looking for her to have something pretty meaty in Life-Size 2, so we shall see what our writer comes up with,” she added.

There is still no official word on whether or not Lohan will join the cast and what exactly her character would be doing if she did, but given Banks’ comments, we’re feeling pretty hopeful that Eve and Casey will reunite — and possibly do another sassy duet while they’re at it!

As for what we do know, Life-Size 2 will follow Eve, who is now a grown up, as she helps a young woman “learn to live and love again,” according to the April press release. It’s also described as “a fun, edgy, modern” movie, and we can’t wait to see it, especially if Lohan gets the part we all know she deserves.

Life-Size 2 is set to debut on Freeform in December 2018.
