After One Direction decided to take a break in 2016, fans have been watching and waiting for reunions, no matter how small. Now, we’ve discovered that even when the lads aren’t together, they are thinking about one another.
While in-person reunions are great — like the time Niall Horan and Liam Payne were performing at the same venue and posted their get together on social media — we love any interaction between the One Direction singers. The most recent was interaction took place Horan and Louis Tomlinson, and it happened thanks to a donut store.
“Hahaha @Louis_Tomlinson is going to love this,” Horan tweeted alongside the announcement that a popular pastry, sweets and sandwich shop called Greggs would be opening drive-thrus around the UK.
Based on this tweet, we now know that Tomlinson is a MAJOR fan of Greggs and the foods they offer, and the fact that Horan had to tell him about it gives us all the feels. The band might not be singing together right now, but at least they chat and reach out to one another on social media.
Although Tomlinson has yet to reply to Horan’s tweet, we are really hoping he saw it and that he will reply to it soon! Either way we love how much Horan cares about his former bandmate. In fact, this is actually the second time in the past few months that Horan showed him love.
The first time was after Tomlinson called himself as “forgettable, to a certain degree” while talking to The Observer, and Horan then told Australia’s Nova 100 that Tomlinson “was a very, very, very extremely vital member of One Direction. He’s a great man.”
With all this 1D love going around, now we need an epic reunion of these two going to Greggs and eating donuts… lots and lots of donuts.
