Get ready, Grey’s Anatomy fans! A very popular Glee alum is checking back into the medical drama this season.

Matthew Morrison (who played Will Schuester on the Fox series) recently confirmed in an interview with The Argonaut that he is heading back to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital sometime in season 14.

“It’s been a crazy ride since the show. I have a big role in Grey’s Anatomy coming up,” Morrison told The Argonaut earlier this month, who explained that he’s shooting a movie in China as well as doing concerts all over the world.

Considering how tight Morrison’s schedule is, we are even more excited that he’s found time to reprise his role on Grey’s Anatomy. As many Grey’s fans will remember, Morrison first appeared on the ABC doctor drama in season 13 as Dr. Paul Stadler, Jo Wilson’s (Camilla Luddington) estranged husband.

Seeing Morrison in the role definitely threw some Glee fans for a loop, as his Grey’s character is so unlike Glee’s Mr. Schuester. During his previous stint on the drama, Morrison’s Dr. Stadler had a run-in with Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), though they didn’t get come to blows.

Maybe, when Morrison returns to the series, his character will finally get told off by Karev? Or maybe, he will stir the pot even more.

Despite Morrison’s reveal that he will be back this season, ABC has yet to announce his return and what he will be doing when he does resurface. Let us know what you think might happen when Dr. Stadler makes his comeback this season in the comments below.

Grey’s Anatomy returns for its 14th season with a two-hour season premiere on September 28, 2017 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
