Sabrina Carpenter has done it again! The singer just hit another huge milestone, and it’s a well deserved one!

On Saturday (Aug. 5), Radio Disney announced that Carpenter’s latest single, “Why,” which dropped in July, had hit the number one spot on their radio chart, and fans should be beyond thrilled.

“Congrats @SabrinaAnnLynn! #Why is the #1 song of the week on Radio Disney!” the radio stationed captioned their “Why” lyric photo and shout out to Carpenter.

Ever since the former Disney Channel star’s single hit the airwaves on July 7, 2017, it’s been dominating Radio Disney’s Top 3 chart. In fact, Carpenter’s catchy track has been at the number one spot three different times in two weeks!

This isn’t, however, the first major accolade the track has received since its debut. According to Mike Adam from 923 AMP and 1075 KZL, the music video for “Why” had three million plus views in five days, which is the most of any of Carpenter’s music videos to date.

Plus, it had 450 million combined views and over 400 million combined streams. Not too shabby for the former Disney darling, wouldn’t you say?

Seeing as Carpenter is about halfway through her summer tour, called De-Tour, it’s no surprise that her song is heating up the summer charts. Although we’d love to hear new music, especially songs that sound like “Why,” we’ll settle for hearing her perform live on Live With Kelly & Ryan this month (on August 21) and listen to her current track on repeat.

Plus, if we’re lucky, Carpenter will return to acting again soon, and who knows maybe she’ll play a singer. That would be the best of both worlds!
