With about a month to go before the The Big Bang Theory returns to air with season 11, the cast is officially getting back to work!
On Wednesday (Aug. 9), three of our favorite stars from the CBS sitcom, Mayim Bialik, Kunal Nayyar, and Kaley Cuoco, shared photos of the season 11 premiere script, and now we’re even more excited to see what’s coming this fall.
“Starting season 11 of @bigbangtheory today!!!! so excited!” Bialik, who plays Amy Farrah Fowler on the show, captioned her script selfie.
Nayyar, who plays Raj Koothrappali, also shared a picture of his script, but with a pen covering the title, because clearly secrets are a BIG deal on TBBT set. Although we don’t know what the episode will be called, it is the 232nd episode of the comedy, and that’s a BIG deal.
“Here. We. Go.,” wrote the actor as a caption for his photo.
Nayyar’s photo didn’t hide every detail, however. The pic reveals that that this premiere episode was written by TBBT creator Chuck Lorre, longtime writer Eric Kaplan (he’s written 121 episodes thus far of the comedy), and Jeremy Howe (whose written 53 so far). This season’s first episode also will be directed by Mark Cendrowski, who has been the main director since the show started back in 2007.
Cuoco, who plays the lovable Penny, covered her script with a Rubik’s Cube and we salute her for her originality. Plus, she made a joke about those pesky stairs in her apartment building, which after 10 seasons are still hard to climb (shocker).
“We’re baaaaaacccckkkkk!,” wrote Cuoco, with the funny hashtag #thosestairsaregettingharderandhardertoclimb.
What do you think the season 11 premiere will be about? Which cliffhanger do you want to see resolved first?
The Big Bang Theory returns for its 11th season on September 25, 2017 on CBS.
